Curtis, 65, of Olivet, passed away on August 11, 2016 at his residence in Olivet, MI. He was born to George and Ruth (Holloway) Barnard.
Following graduation from Holt HS High School he entered the U. S Army to serve his country. After returning from the service he married the love of his life, Caron. Together they moved to Olivet where they developed an inseparable relationship. They did everything together, hunting, gardening and canning the produce they grew.
Curtis worked as a Driver for Cass Polymers until his retirement. He will be remembered by his many friends and family as a person who was always there to help others.
Curtis is survived by his niece's and nephews Nicole Dhaene, Melissa Fritzsche, Bradley Barnard, Curtis Barnard, William Barnard, Heidi Wagner and Katie Dunkle, and close friends Jerry Kirkland, Roy Thurston, Diane Doucette.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Caron: father, George William Barnard; mother, Ruth Louise Barnard; his brother Bradley and his sister Becky.
Interment will take place at a later date at Bosworth Cemetery.
