Daniel Dute, a veteran of the Civil war, died at his residence, 721 Chestnut street. Thursday morning, will be buried from Rice's Chapel at ten thirty Saturday morning. Civil war veteran are asked to attend in a body.
Mr. Dute was a volunteer in the Fifth Regiment of the Pennsylvania Calvary. He served his country for three years, not receiving his discharge until after the termination of the war.
