                         Funerals
    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Casselman-Meek Funeral Home, Hiawatha, for Frank 'Hank' Powell, 84, Hiawatha. He died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1988, at the Hiawatha Community Hospital.
    Mr. Powell worked several years for Yellow Cab Co., in Chicago. He later operated Hank's Repair Shop in Hiawatha.
    He was born December 9, 1903.
    His wife, Mrs. Carol Powell, survives.
    Other survivors include a son, Christopher Powell, Beloit, Wis.
    Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery at Hiawatha. Mr. Powell will lie in state after 10 a.m., Monday, at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Hank Powell Monument Fund and sent in care of the funeral home.
