In Memory of Minnie Burch.
It was a pure star that passed beyond our horizon to shine on other spheres when Minnie G. Burch departed this life, She was the daughter of J G and Mary Ham, who with two brothers and six sisters survive her. She was born Feb 11, '97 [sic]. In early childhood she united with the Christian church, and all through her life, lived the life of a faithful conscientious christian [sic]. September 5, 1877 [sic] she was married to Joel C Burch, who is left to mourn the loss of a faithful companion having been married 1 year 8 days. She departed this life Sept 13, 1898 at the age of 21 years 7 months 2 days.
Throughout her illness she always greeted every one with a smile and pleasant word. It was blessed to live; it is blessed on the mountains of life immortal to live for ever more. Memories of Mrs Burch will always be to those who knew her, a vision of that beauty which originates and abides in heaven. The remains were interred at Liberty cemetery, the funeral being in charge of Elder Weddle.
