Gary Lynn Slinkard 65 of Rogers passed away August 14, 2016. He was born October 20 1950 in Vaughn, Arkansas the son of Floyd and Detta Mae Rominger Slinkard.
Graduated from Rogers High School 1968.
Served seven years in the Arkansas Army National Guard
May 23, 1969 Gary Lynn Slinkard and Pixie Colleen Owens were united in marriage at the Free Will Baptist Church in Rogers, Arkansas.
He worked for Pre-Formed Line Products.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Larry Slinkard.
Gary love fishing, hunting, playing baseball and basketball, bowling and trying his luck at casinos.
Survived by his sister-in-law Sherry Slinkard; two nephews Justin Slinkard (Anita) and Rusty Slinkard (Layla)all of Rogers; one sister JoAnn Ordinachev of St. Louis; great nephews Logan Slinkard, Caleb Andrews, Hayden and Alex Johnson; great nieces Errin Slinkard and Ashtin Hutson.
Visitation 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday; August 20, 2016 at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers.
