Ruth Louise BATEHAM, daughter of George Thornton BATEHAM and Charlotte Adelaide CHADWICK, was born on October 24, 1911 in Payette, Canyon County (now Payette County), Idaho. She attended school in Payette, Payette County, Idaho and later in Spokane, Spokane County, Washington when her family moved there after the birth of her youngest brother, Arthur Virgil Bateham. As an adult, Ruth never married, but resided with her mother in Seattle, King County, Washington, where she also worked until her retirement at Boeing. As a pastime, Ruth liked collecting small and delicate antiques. Ruth died on January 19, 1981, in Seattle at age 69.
