ROBERT F. KAMINSKI
(1939 - 2016)

Robert F. Kaminski, age 77, of Two Rivers, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.

He was born February 19, 1939 in Manitowoc, son of the late Alex and Anna (Ludwig) Kaminski. Robert graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the Class of 1957. On October 31, 1959, he married the former Susan Perry at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Two Rivers. She preceded him in death on July 19, 1987.

Robert was a member of the Plumbers Local Union #75 and Sacred Heart Athletic Association. He was employed with Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant for some time, and also owned his own business, Kaminski Plumbing, in which his slogan was "You plug 'em, we flush 'em". Robert also worked for the Burger Boat and then the City of Milwaukee as an irrigation plumber, retiring in 2007. He was an avid Packer fan and loved flowers and gardening as known by his front yard in Two Rivers. Along with the Sacred Heart Athletic Association, Robert organized and ran the Vince Lombardi Touch Football Charity Tournament for Cancer for 17 years. At one time, Robert had a players bench from the Ice Bowl Game and donated it to where it now resides, at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law: Barbara (Kaminski) and Terry Stinski, Menasha, and Lori Kaminski, Holmen; five grandchildren: Dan, Mike, Sarah, Monica and Joe Stinski; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Lois (Paul) Kerscher, Neenah, and Carol (Harold) Reimer, Manitowoc; one brother: Ron Kaminski, Manitowoc; and three brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Ron (Jean) Perry, Park Falls, John (Pam) Perry, Woodridge, Illinois, and Jim (Wendy) Perry, Ellettsville, Indiana. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He is preceded in death by his parents; Susan (Perry) Kaminski; an infant son: Joseph Paul Kaminski; a sister-in-law: Sharon Kaminski; and Fred and Grace Perry.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, August 20, 2016 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Maurice Mmegbuadimma. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Two Rivers, at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, August 19, 2016 at the Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers with a prayer service to be held at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday morning, August 20, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers.
