Schaefer, age 83, of St. Cloud who passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at St. Benedict's Senior Community in St. Cloud. Burial will take place in Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud.
Relatives and friends may call from 4-9 p.m. on Sunday, June 29 and after 9 a.m. on Monday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Parish Prayers will be at 7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Theresa was born July 24, 1924 in St. Martin, MN to John and Frances (Hemmesch) Olmscheid. She married Nicholas J. Schaefer on October 2, 1945 at St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martin. She was a current member of St. Mary's Cathedral Parish and former member of St. John Cantius Catholic Church.
Theresa is survived by her children Ralph of Florida, Harold of Fargo, Jo Ann Landwehr of Sauk Rapids and Eileen of St. Cloud, two grandchildren Sarah and Stacy, and three sisters Marie Schoenberg of Melrose, Catherine Primus of Melrose and Ann Backes of St. Cloud.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Nicholas, brothers Nicholas and Gilbert Olmscheid, and sisters Elizabeth Schlangen and Alverna Enneking.
