Tiry Garrett
William Garrett, a Virginian by birth and breeding, was a pioneer settler of Highland County, Ohio. Taking up a tract of wild land, he cleared a homestead and there resided until his death in 1825, when bit fifty-two years of age. His body was buried in the old Pope cemetery near Centerfield.
