Paul S. Deutsch, 46, of Springfield died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center.
He was born May 24, 1960, in Elmhurst, the son of William R. and Helen Hubbell Deutsch.
Mr. Deutsch earned a bachelor's degree in history from Illinois State University. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, serving during the 1980s in San Diego and Hawaii. He was an adjudicator for SSI with the Illinois Department of Human Services.
Survivors: sister, Margaret (husband, Jerome B.) Jacinto of Springfield; brother, William J. (wife, Kathy) Deutsch of Carbondale; mother and stepfather, Helen and William Chase of Normal; a niece; a nephew; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
