MRS. CAMPBELL, 77, TAKEN BY DEATH
Mrs. Julia Ann Campbell, 77, died at Memorial Hospital Tuesday at 4 a.m. following a four month illness.
The daughter of Harry and Dela Barxton Jackson, she was born June 13, 1881 in Cherry Box, Mo. She has lived in Mt. Pleasant for the past 16 years and resided at 202 Marion St. at the time of her death.
Mrs. Campbell was a member of the Second Baptist Church.
Surviving are three children: Mrs. Cleona Bradshaw and Mrs. Osceola Hickman, both of La Grange, Mo, and Malcolm Campbell of Mt. Pleasant. Two nieces, Josephine Campbell and Mrs. Trenton Johnson, both of Mt. Pleasant also survive.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday July 24, at the Second Baptist Church with the Rev. J.S. Beverly officiating. Interment services will be held at La Belle, Mo., at 3:00 p.m.
