Fisher, Violet, "Judy" Mae (Beasley), 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 6, 2014.

Judy was born April 8, 1928, to Johnny Grant and Mabel Lily (Floyd) Beasley in Horton, Kansas. She married Cecil "Pete" George Fisher on September 14, 1973, in Modesto, California. From California they moved to Augusta where Judy worked as a custodian at Lincoln Elementary for 14 years and the Augusta Middle School for 2 years. She retired in June of 1990 to care for her husband who had cancer and died August 1, 1991. During that time and after Pete's passing Judy had a sewing and alterations business from her home. She loved her garden and was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Her survivors include her dog, Taffy for 18 years and several nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; step-father, Arlington Lantz; brother, Leslie Beasley; sister, Velma Woodard; half-sisters, Marion Collier and Elnora Brown.
