Van Buren, George Jr.
KINDERHOOK, N.Y. - George Reynolds Van Buren Jr. of Kinderknoll Dr., Kinderhook, a lifelong resident, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at Barnwell Health Facilities, Valatie, N.Y.
He is survived by his wife Jeanne (Clemens) Van Buren; one daughter, Pamela McCarthy and husband Captain David R. McCarthy USN of Alexandria, Va.; two grandchildren, Meagan Mitcheison and husband Stuart of Portsmouth, Va. and Erin McCarthy of Portsmouth; he was also survived by three cousins.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Kinderhook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Valatie Rescue Squad.
