Paul K. Stark ~ Obituary

Paul K. Stark of Tappan, New York passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at the New Jersey Veteran's Memorial Home in Paramus.

He was born in Buffalo, New York on October 17,1925.

He graduated from Nyack High School in 1943 with awards in both basketball and football.

He was a pilot in the USNAC during WWII. Afterward he flew for: American Export, No. Africa. American Overseas, Berlin Airlift. Seaboard & Western, Korea. Flying Tigers, Hungarian Revolution. Overseas National Airways, Vietnam. Later, he served as Director for ONA, Saber Air of Singapore 6 Austrian Air Transport.

He is survived by four children, Barbara Stark, Paul Stark, Deirdre Willett and Kenly Stark. Seven grandchildren, Samantha Kowalczyk, Christopher and Jaime Williams, Jennifer Palermo, Taylor Rosen, Arielle and Brandon Willett and Kenly Stark. Three great grandchildren , Emma, Gabriella and Joseph Kowalczyk.

He is predeceased by his daughter, Deborah Williams and his son, Richard.

Friends may call on Thursday, February 21,from 3 to 7 pm at the Hannemann Funeral Home, 88 So. Broadway in Nyack.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 22, at 11am in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 120 Kings Hwy.,Tappan.
