Stanley Limanowski Obituary
Reverend Stanley C. Limanowski, of Merritt Island, FL. Pastor Emeritus of St. John Catholic Church, Glenwood, IL. Loving son of the late Mary and Mikoli. Last of the Limanowski brothers, the late Ed, Ted, Ben and Leo; dear brother-in-law of Anne, Dorothy and the late Marie and Mary; loving uncle, granduncle and great-granduncle to many. He will be especially missed by his niece, Janet (Peter) Hopman and their children, Jonathan, Justin, Andrew and Emily of Merritt Island, FL. Ordained May 3, 1942, he served his country as a Navy Chapland and Army reservist. To lye in state Wednesday, 2 to 8 p.m. at St. John Catholic Church, 301 Cottage Grove Ave., (between Glenwood-Dyer Rd. and Glenwood-Lansing Rd.), Glenwood. Mass of Chrisitan Burial Thursday 10:30 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send Mass offerings to Divine World Missionaries, P.O. Box 6099, Techny, IL, 60082. Community-Opyt Funeral Home, Riverdale, entrusted with arrangements. 708-849-5500.

I would like to express my sympathy to the family.
(We were neighbors on 119th Street in Roseland -my parents owned the Polish Grocery Store. I was part of his ordination procession at St. Salomea Church in 1942.)
