After serving our country, he returned home, where he later met and married Annie Ludene Griffin. They have four children and recently celebrated 66 years of marriage.
Lino worked at American Forest Products in Dorris until its closure in 1970. He then went to work at Loveness Mill in Malin, Ore. After that, he was the general manager at Dorris Lumber Co. until his retirement. Lino enjoyed many things in life, but hunting and gardening were his passions. He was famous in Dorris for his wonderful corn patch and residents waited all summer for a chance to eat his delicious corn. He enjoyed hunting pheasants and big bucks. He also enjoyed cutting wood with his nephew David Andreatta. He was a prominent member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was always there to help anyone in need. He could be seen most days driving around the back roads of Butte Valley, enjoying the wildlife and scenery. Lino's wave, smile, stories and jokes will be missed by many. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. Always so caring, thoughtful, funny and selfless.
He is survived by Annie, his wife of 66 years; son, Carl Andreatta; daughter, Julie Shelby (Dan); daughter, Jeannie Walker (Al); son, Tom Andreatta (Carrie); granddaughters, Rikki Truax (Mike), Margo Dodd, and Lindsey Gardner; grandsons, Justin Lefore and Ian Andreatta; great-granddaughter, Kylee Truax; great-grandson, Keith Truax; great-granddaughter, Ryley Amberson; great-granddaughter, Avery Dodd; and great-grandson, Griffin Andreatta.
