He was born in Sapulpa on June 19 1919 and had lived here all of his life. He retired in 1972 after 16 years and seven months service as a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church at Bryan and Park Streets, member of D.A.V. American Legion and Rural Mail Carriers. Surviving are his wife Dorothy June of the home; mother Estella Heath of Sapulpa; two daughters Janet Young of Sapulpa and Carol Hoskinson of Choctaw, OK; nine grandchildren; a brother, Willis Heath of Sapulpa and a sister, Phyllis Beaty of Eufaula. Services are pending and will be announced by Owen Funeral Home.
