Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Dixie United Methodist Church for Mr. Ernest L. Nester, Jr., 88, of Dixie Community. He died Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Brookdale Asst. Living in Hattiesburg, MS. Interment will be in Dixie United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Nester was owner and operator of Nester Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a member of Dixie United Methodist Church and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest L. and Bernice Nester and one sister, Anita Hull.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Nester of Dixie Community; one son, David E. Nester of Hattiesburg; one daughter, Cheryl Nester of Lenexa, KS; one nephew, Randall Hull of Hattiesburg.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Sunday at Dixie United Methodist Church and beginning at 9:00 AM Monday at the church.
