STATESBORO - Lee Hugh Hagans, 86, died Thursday at Statesboro Nursing Home after a long illness.
The Bulloch County native a retired merchant and a member of Upper Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church near Statesboro.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lucille H. Hagans of Statesboro; a son, Joe Hagans of Statesboro; a stepson, John Hart of Dalton; and two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral: 2 p.m. today at Smith-Tillman Mortuary in Statesboro, burial in Upper Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
