Betty Jo Kilby, 76, of Townsend passed away August 27, 2016.
She was a faithful member of Caylor’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She was a sweet lady that loved everyone and was loved by all in return.
She was preceded in death by Husband, Odell Kilby; Parents, Joe and Mabel Dunn; Brother, James Wesley Dunn, and Granddaughters, Tori and Adele Kilby.
She is survived by her Children: Delbert and Judy Kilby, Terry Jo Kilby, Tammy and Ernie Proffitt, Timothy “Pete” Kilby, Jeff and Missy Kilby, and Scott and Christy Kilby, 18 grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, and a host of special friends.
Funeral services will be held 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Caylor’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Everett, Rev. Gerald Jones, and Bill Huffman officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:15 A.M. Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home to proceed to Bethel Cemetery in Townsend for a 10:00 A.M. graveside service. The family will receive friends 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to Caylor’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church: 486 Webb Rd., Townsend, TN 37882 in her honor.
