Heck died at the age of 71 at Divine Providence Hospital at 8 p.m. Thursday night. He was employed by the Atlantic Richfield Refining Company for 29 years before his retirement in 1957. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Leon A. (Elizabeth) Neuber, Mrs. L.J. Henrickson and Mrs. R.E. (Shirleylu) Scheurer of Williamsport, Mrs. R.M. Lindsey of Montoursville and Mrs. A.P. Bloomer, of Rochester, New York.; a son, C.A. Corbett, Jr. of Montoursville; three stepsisters; Mrs. Blanche Burns and Mrs. Mary Kujawa, both of Williamsport and Mrs. Mabel Enhright, of Syracuse, New York; two step brothers, Arthur Leary, of Williamsport, and Frank Heckart, of Montgomery Pike, and 10 grand children.
Clarence A. Corbett, Sr. was also known as Uncle Heck. His son, Clarence Jr. was also known as "Buddy".
