Funeral for Mrs. Ruth Coleman George, 55 N. Shore Rd., Lake Oswego, will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Finley's Rose Chapel with private interment in Portland Memorial Crematorium.
A native of Davenport, Iowa, Mrs. George, 71, had lived in the Portland area for the past 50 years. She died Monday at her home.
She had been active in Alderwood and Waverley Country Clubs and in the Women of Rotary organization. The late husband, Herbert L., was manager of Marshall - Wells Co.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marshall Brown, Lake Oswego, and three granddaughters.
