Mary Celestine "Celeste" (Vinson) Gregory, 72, of Boiling Springs, died Wednesday, November 22, 2006, at her home.

Born April 28, 1934 in Jonesville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Carl Victor and Annie Belle (Going) Vinson.

Retired in 2006 from Milliken and Co. after 50 years of service, she was a member of New Beginnings United Methodist Church, valedictorian of the 1952 Class of Jonesville High School, and graduated from Cecil's Business College.

Mrs. Gregory is survived by her husband, Robert Harold Gregory of the home; her son and daughter-in-law, Brian R. and Jamie M. Gregory of Spartanburg; her sister and brother-in-law, Betty Jo and Lawrence "Goo" Jameson of Virginia Beach, VA; and her grandson, Connor Ryan Gregory of Spartanburg.

Cryptside services were held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Owens.
