Edward was born in Wolverine, Michigan, the son of William Henry (Will) Caplin and Sarah Alma Sutliff and the Grandson of James Capling and Laura Platt. He died at St. Mary's Hospital in Tucson, Arizona in 1990. Edward was the Father of two sons, Larry and Dale Caplin and had one adopted daughter, Lorraine Gene Caplin. He was married to Ruby Emaline Cory. Ed was a good and steady man, a hard worker, a kind gentleman and a loving and gentle Father and Husband. For many years Ed was an Elder in his Church, The Crossroads Presbyterian Church in Walled Lake, Michigan, where Ed made a home for himself and his Family for over thirty years. To say he is missed would be an understatement.
