Obituary - Died Last Evening. From Monday's Daily. At her home, 501 Mulberry street, Sunday evening, at 10 o'clock, of heart failure, Emily Straub, beloved wife of Albert F. Straub. Deceased's maiden name was Emily Chambers. She was born in Canada East, April 6, 1831. On the 8th day of June, 1856, she was united in marriage to Albert F. Straub at Vienna, Canada West. In 1860 they removed to Scott county, Iowa, where they resided until the fall of 1866, when they moved to the old Vincent Chambers farm in Sweetland township, Muscatine county, Iowa. They removed from here to Montgomery county, Iowa, in the fall of 1883. In 1892 they returned to Muscatine, where they have made their home ever since. Deceased was a loving and kind wife and her daily care was the comfort of her loving husband, who is left to mourn her loss. Their adopted son, William Straub, arrived from Lime City today and will take charge of the remains. The funeral services will be held at the residence of J. E. McElroy, 508 Mulberry street, at 10 o'clock Tuesday, Sept. 20, conducted by the Rev. Arthur Fowler. The interment will take place at Lime City, Iowa.
