Donald "Stix" Chambers, age 63 of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home surrounded by family and friends following a 5 year battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 12, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Conway-Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station with Reverend Steven Keller officiating. Visitation will be held at Conway Picha Funeral Home on Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 1 to 5 p.m. and on Monday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. (Per request of the family, please wear your Drinkin' Man's Band shirt to the funeral.)

Don was born May 16, 1953 in Tomah, Wisconsin the son of Marvin and Gloria (Erdman) Chambers. He met and married Kaye Nelson on April 15, 1972 and was blessed with 3 children. Don was an avid turkey hunter, deer hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to ride his motorcycle. He was a drummer in several bands over his lifetime including 40 plus years with the Drinkin' Man's Band. In his later years he enjoyed woodworking and made several things for family and friends.

Don enjoyed life to the fullest and enjoyed making people laugh. He was so full of life and if you knew him, you loved him. He had a wonderful and unique sense of humor.

Don is survived by his loving wife, Kaye of Mauston; daughters, Wendy (Tom) Hudzinski of Alaska and Dulcie (Rick) Brunner of Mauston; a son, Jake (Ashley) Chambers of Tennessee; grandchildren, Lyndzey, Jenna and Dillon Hudzinski, Reggie and Lilly Brunner, and Crimson, Presley and Cooper Chambers; great grandchildren, Jayson and Noah Hudzinski; sister, Connie (Bob) Burns of Mauston; brother, Glenn (Tonia) Chambers of Portage; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Daniel Chambers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Friends and Family Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
