Mr. Bradley, his wife Bessie and two friends drove to Decatur yesterday morning for an outing at Lake Decatur. Mr. Bradley, who had been under treatment for acute bronchial asthma became ill. He failed to respond and his wife summoned a physician and an ambulance and he was pronounced dead on arrival at Decatur and Macon County hospital.
Mr. Bradley was born in Chicago and had been a resident of Springfield 15 years. He was employed by the Sangamon county farmers board. Mr. Bradley was a World war I veteran.
