Mrs. Martha V. P. Alley, 86, of Sciotoville, OH, who resided for 45 years in Louisa, died last week at the home of a daughter, Mrs. W. B. Brown of Sciotoville where she made her home for the past several months.

Mrs. Alley was born April 22, 1867, at Sidney, KY, a daughter of the late Shadle and Malinda Morris Pauley. She was a member of the Point Truth Christian Church in Pike County, KY. Her husband, Peter V. Alley, died in 1938.

Survivors include five daughters; three sons; four sisters; six brothers; and 23 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
