"AMBROSE, Velma Thompson, 80, of Glasgow, formerly of Glen Wilton, died Tuesday, February 1, 1994 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Linda Perkins of Glasgow. She was the widow of Wesley Macon Ambrose and a member of the Faith Baptist Church, Covington. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Joan Hylton of Clinton, Ind., Mrs. Fay Fields of Fairfax Station, and Mrs. Linda Perkins of Glasgow; two sons, Gene Ambrose of Selma and Freddie Ambrose of Covington; one sister, Mrs. Lillian Phillips of Clifton Forge; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Eagle Rock Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Price officiating. Interment will follow in the Stull Cemetery, Eagle Rock. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 until 8:30 at the Eagle Rock Funeral Home."
