WILLIAM THOMAS AINSWORTH, husband of Mrs Melva (Winters) Ainsworth, Rt 1, Williamsport, died at Washington County Hospital Tuesday at 11:15 pm. He was 55.
An employee of the Hagerstown City Light Department, he was a member of the Williamsport Methodist Church, the Methodist Men's Organization, and the AF & AM Williamsport Lodge.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his mother, Mrs Maude (Kerfoot) Ainsworth, Halfway; daughters, Mrs Faye Brandt, Halfway; and Mrs Nancy Myers, Williamsport; sisters, Mrs Louise Morningstar, Vienna, Va; Mrs Frances LePage, Halfway; and Mrs Mary Margaret Kuhn, Penns Grove, NJ; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services at Williamsport Methodist Church on Friday at 2 pm with the Rev C Gordo Clews officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, Williamsport. Arrangements handled by Norment Funeral Home.
