MRS. SARAH FAIREGEAILES
Sarah Isabelle Graves was born in Lewis county, New York, on December 19, 1846 and died February 1, 1917, age 70 years, 1 month and 12 days. She was married at Bangor, Mich., to John Frederick Fairegeailes. In her early life she professed religion and was baptized, remaining in the christian faith and at the age of 26 years taking membership in the United Brethren church at Bangor. They were residents of Bangor until the year 1879. In October of that year they moved to Ord, where she transferred her membership to the Methodist church.
To this union were born six children, one dying at the age of seven years. Those remaining are David F. Fairegeailes of Ord, Carrie M. Patrick of Kearney, Cora A. Witt of Ericson, Jennie A. Fairegeailes of Ord and Mary R. Cramer of Alberta Canada, and nine grandchildren. All surviving children except the latter were at the bedside at the time of death.
In addition to the children the deceased leaves three brothers and two sisters. They are George and Henry Graves and Mary Burger of Bangor, Michigan, Adelbert Graves of Hawarden, Iowa; and Alice Vincent of Ord. The deceased has been a great sufferer for a number of years but in her christian faith has borne up under her suffering without a murmur, and passed peacefully away at ten thirty am February first.
The funeral was held Saturday afternoon from the Methodist church, Rev. Winslow having charge of the services.
