Stephen Allen "Pop Pop" Morrison, 71, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 23, 2016.
Born in Portsmouth, VA, he was the son of the late James and Lucille Morrison. He retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard after over 30 years of service. He was actively involved and stayed connected with all of his Simonsdale friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Morrison and his son Dennis Gosey. He will be greatly missed and forever loved.
Left to cherish his memory: his daughter, Michelle Andrews (Paul); sons, Stephen Morrison and David Gosey (Liz); daughter, Deborah Gosey; daughter-in-law, Sheila Gosey; companion, Linda Vaughan; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Hwy. Chapel.
