Edwin Nels Anderson, age 92, passed away March 27, 2010 in Bountiful, Utah.

He was born Feb. 5, 1918 in Midvale, Utah to Nels Oluff and Anna (Emily) O. Anderson.

He married LaVerle Jordan on June 22, 1957 in Crescent, Utah.

He spent most of his life working around trains and retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad as an engineer.

He was a member of the LDS Church, spending most of his life in the Val Verda 2nd and 9th wards.

He is survived by his children Jordan (Connie) Anderson of West Valley City, Utah; Anna Anderson of Powell, OH; Brooke (Karen) Anderson of Bountiful, Utah; and two daughters from previous marriages, Kathy (Dean) Barnes of Nephi, Utah; and Dione Hawke; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife LaVerle; sister Margaret Mascaro, brother, Jack; half-brothers, Wallace Peterson and Andrew Peterson; and half-sister Lily Bateman.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 31 at 2:00 p.m. at Russon Bros. Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, where a viewing will be held from 12:30-1:45 p.m. prior to the services. Interment in the Crescent Cemetery, 11105 South State, Sandy. www.russonmortuary.com
