Mrs. Myrtice Irene Adams, age 85 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, September 06, 2016 at New Horizons following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 09, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Pierce Ashmore, Reverend J.D. Sosebee and Reverend Kenny Williamson will officiate.

Mrs. Adams was born on May 03, 1931 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Raymond Elliott and Julie Maebell Frady Elliott. She was retired from Tugaloo Home Health Nursing. She attended the Community Chapel Congregational Holiness Church in Murrayville, Ga. Mrs. Adams is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Adams, parents, daughter, Judy Diane Norris, Kara Lynn and John Villyard, and son, Jerry William Adams.

Mrs. Adams is survived by a daughter, 2 sons, 5 grand-daughters, 5 great-grandchildren, a sister and brother-in-law, and a son-in-law. (Names of survivors are omitted to protect their privacy. ISL)
