Mrs. Fannie Johnson age 59 years, died at the Freeman-Greene County hospital last night at 11:30 o'clock, after submitting to an operation the previous day.
The deceased had been in failing health for several months. She was the wife of Thomas J. Johnson. Her residence is three miles southwest of Lyons.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the Marco M.E. Church, with burial in the Marco cemetery. Lloyd Davidson of Lyons is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
