Death of Thomas Clark
Thomas Clark, a former resident of Clear Lake, died at the residence of his brother, Fred, in Minneapolis, on Wednesday Nov. 13, of pneumonia, aged 56 years.
Thomas B. Clark was born in Illinois, in 1862, came to Clear Lake with his parents in 1882, and settled on a farm east of the village, moving into town some years later. Mr. Clark, since leaving his home here has been engaged in a number of different enterprises and finally went to California where he engaged in the real estate business in which he acquired a competence.
The funeral took place Saturday morning, in the undertaking rooms in Minneapolis, Rev. Randall officiating. The body was brought to Clear Lake on the morning local and the burial was in Clear Lake cemetery.
Mr. Clark is survived by his wife and one brother, Fred, who with his wife, accompanied the remains from Minneapolis.
