Obituary
May 6, 1917 - May 20, 2016 Dorcas was born in the town of Saskatoon in the Saskatchewan province of Canada on May 6, 1917. She was the third of four children born to Charles and Henrietta Langdon. She had two brothers, Harold and Charles Langdon, and one sister Mary Cushing.

After college Dorcas married Burt Morgan, a Canadian Air Force Pilot who was soon killed in action in World War II. Dorcas then moved to Birmingham, Alabama, to be closer to her brother Harold. She was a Registered Dietitian, working at the Spies Clinic and later at the Jefferson County Health Department until she retired.

She met and married Wellborn Edwin White, Sr. in Birmingham in 1947. They had four children: Charles Franklin White, Diana Elizabeth Gwaltney, Henrietta Rose Thomas Davis and Wellborn Edwin White, Jr.

Dorcas was widowed for a second time when Wellborn Sr. died in 1965. She raised her four children and later married Hubert Wilson Greene, Sr. in 1977 when she was 60 and he was 70. They enjoyed 25 years together before he died.

Dorcas was a woman of deep Christian faith. She was an active member of McCoy United Methodist Church and later Briarwood Presbyterian Church for many years. She was known for her beautiful smile, her sense of fun, her welcoming nature, and her love of friends and family.
