Aaron was born in Lynwood, CA (South Bay area of Los Angeles) and grew up in Compton, attending Laurel Elementary, Davis Jr. High and Compton High School, graduating in 1976. After high school he attended California State University at Long Beach.
He was employed for Pacific Bell (later AT&T) until his retirement in 2015. He married Helen Brown in 1981 and fathered two sons. His first wife passed away in 1993. Later in 1995 he married Julie Williams; two sons were also born to this union.
I remember Aaron because we went to the same schools. I remember him as being very bright; once he chastised me because I began behaving badly while in junior high and he said, "You're too smart to be acting so badly," or something to that effect.
He passed away at the young age of 58 from cancer.
