Mrs. J. William Ditter, widow of a former congressman and mother of Montgomery County Judge J. William Ditter, Jr., died in Riverview Osteopathic Hospital in Norristown. She was 75.
Mrs. Ditter's husband was Representative from Pennsylvania's 17th Congressional District for 11 years. He died in a Navy transport plane Nov. 27, 1943, near Lancaster.
Mrs. Ditter, the former Mabel Bearne, lived on Euclid Ave., Ambler. She was a former director and treasurer of Riverview Hospital. Surviving, in addition to her son, is a daughter Mrs. Mabel B. Ditters Sellers, an attorney.
