FAIRFIELD Chante "Tay" Meyers and her unborn son, Azlyn Arymyss A'Mylee Meyers, were taken from us by God from cardiac arrest on Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, during her last meal with her husband and two children, Meleena and Iza, in England.
Tay was born in Vallejo and lived in Fairfield and Suisun City. Tay attended Crescent Elementary, Crystal Middle and Fairfield High schools, graduating in 1999. She then moved with her family to Albuquerque, N.M., in 1999 where she met her amazing husband, Lourin Meyers, in July 2004. She and Lourin were married on Dec. 8, 2005.
Lourin, Chante, Meleena and Iza were transferred to England in August. Chante became pregnant with a little boy and treated her pregnancy as if the baby was already in her life. Her family was her joy. Chante will be deeply missed and her memories will be cherished.
She left behind her husband, Lourin Meyers; children, Meleena, Mone and Iza; father, William "Bill" Low; mother, Cricket Perier; siblings, Tiffany, Trina, Chassidy, Kayla and Kalani; paternal grandparents, Robert and Louise Ford; maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Stephanie Sodeman; mother- and father-in-law, Louraine and Charles Meyers Sr.; brother-in-law, Charles Meyers Jr.; nieces and nephews, Kehaulani, Ja'Bri, Kalea, Aaliyana, Adam and Leland; extended sisters, Angela Fontenot, Alsalima Madkins, Tina Wilson, Rachel Humphrey and Anneke Harris; and numerous family and friends from all over the world.
She was preceded in death by her son, Devarius Low.
