Funeral services for Robert Lee Bordelon will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Father Andy presiding. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, September 12, 2016 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Robert was born November 11, 1938 in Alexandria, Louisiana to Fabian and Lena Bordelon and entered the Gates of Heaven September 10, 2016 in Beaumont, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Kathryn Welch Bordelon, brothers, Percy Bordelon; sisters, Ollie Watts and Marie Swido. Robert proudly served in the United States National Guard and was a member of the Holy Spirit Church. He was a loving husband, father, grand-father, great-great grandfather and will be greatly missed. Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife, Jeanette Bordelon; sons, Richard Bordelon and wife Shirley of Orange Tx and Randy Bordelon and wife Raynine of Lumberton, TX; daughter, Karyn Rainwater and husband Glenn of Vidor, TX; step-sons, Jon Kresser and wife Monica and James Journeay of Mauriceville, TX; step-daughter, Christina Kresser of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren, Brittani Bordelon, Brandi Campbell and husband Eddie of Lumberton, TX, Christopher Bordelon, James Everrett and wife Brandy, Kyle Kresser and wife Brandy, Brandon Kresser, Blake Kresser, Justin Journeay, Keileigh Journeay, Amanda Johnson and husband Keith; great-great grandchildren, Mallorie Campbell, Aiden Campbell, Clint Michael Mobley, Ashlyn Mobley, Hayleigh Mobley, Gavin Johnson, Katelyn Green and Corey Green, Kyleigh Kresser, Kaitlyn Everrett.
