Anna Mae Holden born in Mendocino Co, Potters Valley, passed away in 1949, In Dinuba, Ca, Tulare county. Anna Mae had one child,a son, Willard Adams, and adopted two girls, Ethel Holden and Esther Holden, she was an accomplised artist, school teacher, and raised several children. she was a resident of Kingsburg California. she was burried in Lompock,Ca.she had several relitives burried in the same cemetery. she is burried next to her sister Olive Streeter. After the passing of her first husband Frank Adams, she married John Holden. Her parents were David Streeter and Elizabeth B. (Wilson) Streeter. Her brothers were Lewis streeter, Charley Streeter, and sister Mary Olive Streeter. Anna Mae, and her husband John Holden bought the home place on Howell mountain road in Con Valley, Ca. The house was a very large victorian home built in 1852. They raised thier children there. Later sold and bought the home and ranch in Kingsburg, Ca. on Del Ray rd. She also owned property in San Jose, Ca. where she and Son Willard built the little house/and combined school. where she home schooled her son Willard, and foster daughters Katy, and May Roberts, and other foster childen. Anna Mae loved children, she took many children into her home, all the children refered to her as mama. All the children helped with the daily chores, Household chores and the outside chores, feeding animals, chickens, turkeys, cows, and horses.
