AGE: 73 • Long Branch

Miriam "Bonnie" E. Graminski, (nee Miller), 73 of Long Branch passed away peacefully at home, with her loving family by her side on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Born in Neptune, NJ she lived in Long Branch until graduating Long Branch High School in 1961 and returned again upon her retirement. She was a member at Saint Luke's United Methodist Church, Long Branch.

Bonnie was very passionate about her education as well as her career accomplishments. Her education included a BS Degree in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from the College of Charleston, SC., Lean Enterprise System Certificates, University of Tennessee Center for Executive Education and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Virginia Tech.

Her career took Bonnie on the following path, she started in banking where she worked for over nine years for Central Jersey Bank and Trust Co and First National Bank of South Carolina. Then to Cummins Engine Co, Indiana, where she was Materials Manager of high horsepower engine assembly and up-fit assembly; Production Manager Machining/Assembly and Plant Finance Manager of turbochargers; Team Advisor of Cylinder Head Bolt Machining Team; Training Advisor of Crankshaft Machining Team; Plant start-up experience. Then to Allied-Signal Inc., Bendix Automotive, Michigan where she worked as a Quality Analyst/Supplier Management Group of Brake Systems and Machining/Assembly. She then worked for SKF USA, Inc. PA., as a Materials Flow Analyst of Wheel Bearing Division; Machining/Assembly. For International Truck and Engine, Ohio she was a Business Team Leader; Assembly/Quality/Materials of Heavy Duty Truck Assembly. For Eaton Corp, NY she was Focus Factory Manager of Vacuum Interrupters; Machining/Assembly/Test. She retired as Product Manager from Genedge Alliance, VA, involved with Heavy Manufacturing Experience Implementing "Cutting Edge" Change and Lean Enterprise Strategy, Training and Implementation for over 25 years. As a consultant some of her "Selected Clients" included PEO Aircraft Carriers, NAVSEA 05 and OOB and the American Red Cross.

Bonnie was predeceased by her father, Irven "Bob" Miller in 2010. Surviving are her son; David Graminski and his wife Maria, Shrewsbury, mother; Miriam Megill Miller, Long Branch, brother; Irven G. Miller and wife Kathy, West Long Branch and her grandsons; Ethan and Gavin Graminski., Shrewsbury.

Visitation will be at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 415 Broadway, Long Branch on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 4 to 8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held 11 am Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Saint Luke's United Methodist Church, 535 Broadway, Long Branch. Interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, West Long Branch.
