Gary L. Airwyke Sr. 63, of Conklin, passed away unexpectedly from a long illness on September 12, 2016. He is predeceased by his parents Francis and Ethel Airwyke; love of his life his wife of 42 years Rosemary Airwyke; mother and father in-law Clyde and Dorothy Lawton; son in-law Mike Beatle; grandson John Jr. He is survived by his two brothers and sister Robert and Tom Airwyke, Barbara Strang; children BobbieJo, Stacey (Joe), Tracey, Danielle (Fin), Dawn (John), Gary Jr (Heather); grandchildren Anthony, Rian, Roxanne, Zach, Elizabeth, Tylor, Justin, Cody, Matthew, Jacquaeine, LeeAnn, Hayden, Mikey, Emalee, Rosemary, Sienne; great-grandchildren Marcus, Bentley, Nasiah, Iiana, Bradley; many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friend EB. He was a loving and caring man. He loved to scrap, junk, make money, and he was the first to help anyone at anytime. He was a longtime employee at Endicott-Johnson Corp. Gary's family was his pride and joy, he will be dearly missed by all. Visitation will be held on Friday at the THOMAS J SHEA Funeral Home Inc. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904 from 10am until 12pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 12pm. Burial will be in Spring Forest Cemetery.
