I'm one of the genealogists with the Germanna Foundation and I'm also a Holtzclaw/Otterbach descendant. Elizabeth Holtzclaw was born around 1724, but not in Germany as the First Colony had moved to Stafford County, Virginia by this time and established Germantown, that's where she was born. The immigrants left Germany in 1713 and arrived in Virginia in 1714, Jacob Holtzclaw nor his wife ever returned to Germany.
Thanks!
