Anna Barker Morrow died in July 1893 according to a Nebraska Supreme Court case. Bankers Life Insurance refused to pay on the life insurance of $5,000.00 ($143,000.00 in today's currency) for her husband, John C. Morrow's death. In the end Bankers Insurance had to pay the family, well after Anna's death, about 1900. A.M. Robbins, attorney and executor of Anna's will, continued the case after Anna's death and eventually won.
