Thomas "Tom" E. Alsteen, 75, of Lena, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Sept. 12, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay. He was born to the late Edmund and Violet (Koutsky) Alsteen August 19, 1941 in Lena. He served in the U.S. Army from 1963 -1966. Tom worked at Packerland Packing for many years. He then began farming in the Lena area until his retirement. Tom enjoyed deer hunting and fishing and he spent a lot of time in the garden. Surviving are 3 children, Tracey (Lisa Heck) Alsteen, Jeffery Alsteen, Victoria (Joseph) Biancardi, 3 grandchildren, Amber (Steve) Peters, Logan and Xavier Alsteen, 2 great grandchildren, Addison and Blake, 2 brothers, Rick (Barb) Alsteen, Earl (Lee) Alsteen and 2 sisters, Joyce (the late Roger) Gilligan and Lenora "Sis" (Leonard) Magee. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, 438 W. Main Street, Lena, Tuesday, Sept. 20th from 11 A.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 1 P.M. with Pastor Ryan Landwehr officiating. Tom will be placed to rest at St. Charles Cemetery, Lena.
