VAUGHN D. "DUEY" MOORE, 74, of New Haven, died Monday, Dec.11, 2006, at Heritage Park, Fort Wayne. Born Dec. 24, 1931, in North Baltimore, Ohio, he was the son of Carl and Lois Moore. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and American Legion Post 330, New Haven, and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He married Margaret Louise Schrader, in 1952. He retired from Navistar Engineering after 37 years of service. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Margaret; children, Tim (Barb) Moore of Dunfries, Va., Deb (Bob) Jackson of Yoder, Steve Moore and Joni (Jack) Fleckenstein, both of Fort Wayne, Phill (Deb) Moore of Columbia, Tenn., Doug (Gin) Moore of Fort Wayne, Dan (Renee) Moore and Charlie (Melanie) Moore, both of New Haven, Diana (Bruce) Kraning of Columbia City and Jennifer (Brantley) Pearce of Chandler, Ariz..; mother, Lois Camos of Fort Wayne; brother, Larry (Barb) Moore of Reedsport, Ore.; 25 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Service is 11 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 930 Powers St., New Haven, with calling one hour prior to service. Calling also from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 Indiana Hwy 930 E, New Haven, with Rosary recited at 3:30 p.m. Burial in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are for Masses or the church building fund.
