Henry Lee Bock, Sr. passed away Tuesday September 13, 2016 at NMMC-West Point at the age of 91. He was born in West Point on September 16, 1924 to the late Hattie Stroud and Tony Bock, Sr. He was a member of West End Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish and ride his golf cart to visit his neighbors.
Funeral service will be Thursday September 15, 2016 at 2 PM at Robinson Chapel with Rev. R. C. Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Serving as pallbeares will be Kelly Bock, Cody Bock, Dylan Prisock, Craig Foster, Timmy Turner, Dale Bigham. Honorary pallbearers will be Wally Miles, John Ray Miles, Burt Nix, Russell Craddock, L. E. Ray, Philip McCarter, Jimmy Bryan. Visitation will be Thursday from 12-2 PM at Robinson Funeral Home.
He is survived by his sons, Henry ‘Tommy’ Lee Bock, Jr (Patsy) of Craig Springs, Eddie Bock (Shirley) of Cedar Bluff; daughters, Dorothy Cole (Bill) of Cedar Bluff, Mary Shannon (Roy) of West Point; 6 grandchildren, Tammie Foster, Timmy Turner, Tyler Turner, Kelly Bock, Angel Prisock, Dana Sanders; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Inez Bock, whom he married in 1944; brothers, Ray Bock, Paul Bock, Frank Bock; sister, Virginia Bock; half brother, Tony Bock, Jr.
