Larry Lynn Miller, 69, Troy, passed away at the Harry S. Truman V.A. Hospital, Columbia, Friday, Sept. 9, 2016.

Larry was born Oct. 28, 1946, in Windsor, the son of Walter Miller and wife Gladys, nee Chambers. After attending the local schools, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. Larry was honorably discharged after serving his country. He enrolled in University of Missouri-Columbia and graduated with a bachelor's degree. Larry loved spending time with his family and friends. His passion was horticulture and he worked in that field for many years. Larry enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and working with flowers, vegetables and trees.

He is survived by three siblings, Dean Miller and wife Anna, Texas state, Dick Miller and wife Robyn, Georgia state, and June Colson, Troy; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, great-great-nieces and -nephews; many other relatives and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Jim Doss, Kathleen See and Bonnie Rickards.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Memorials to Missouri Veterans Home, Mexico, Mo., in care of McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1304 Boone St., Troy, MO 63379 are preferred.
